This is a collaborative website put together by the members of the Sarajevo Special Topics Studio at Wentworth Institute of Technology and Arhitektonski Fakultet Sarajevo for the Fall 2010 semester. History of the Studio: The initial planning of the Wentworth Sarajevo studio is the product of the Fulbright collaboration between scholar-in-residence Philippe Revault and Wentworth Professor Andrew Johnston. Following two collaborative studios in 2009-2010 between Revault and Johnston in the neighborhoods of Boston (Mission Hill Main Streets) and with Manuel Delgado (the West Fenway Community), the pair decided to propose Wentworth's participation in a workshop with the Faculty of Architecture in Sarajevo, with whom Revault has long experience. The goal of the Sarajevo workshop is to provide students in both countries the opportunity to explore issues of heritage, planning, and development in a cross-cultural exchange. |
